No Service

The service is open to anyone outside of the CONUS not using a stateside IP address. You are likely experiencing local base/ tower/connection issues or are bouncing off a stateside address. Give it another try and enjoy.

More details: Problems can arise from authorized users being on a US cellular provider/ network or using a VPN that returns a US IPv4, or limits connection due to device security settings.  Other problems arise when users are bouncing between cell towers and public Wi-Fi networks. Depending on the service provider, one of the IP address ranges associated with the cell tower or Wi-Fi provider may include one that returns a Stateside location. We find that some issues arise from authorized users with outdated operating system or device or DISA or base IT network security blocking AFN Go.  Streaming media tends to raise red flags for the IT folks that don't know what AFN is, it also is a uses a lot of bandwidth so on-post IT may limit or throttle the feed to ensure "official" network traffic can flow. Finally, we have stateside users trying to listen to AFN which isn't allowed. Please give it another shot, there is no obvious reason why you can't connect. v/r Mike Burnette
